F1 standings after the Belgian GP: Antonelli extends championship lead to 45 points

Antonelli has 204 points after ten races, while Lewis Hamilton has moved up to second place with 159 points. The Ferrari driver finished fourth in Belgium, while George Russell failed to score after his retirement. The Mercedes driver has therefore fallen to third in the standings and is now 50 points behind his team-mate.

Charles Leclerc remains fourth in the championship after finishing second at Spa. The Ferrari driver added 18 points to his tally and now has 126 points.

The McLaren drivers continue to occupy fifth and sixth positions. Lando Norris remains ahead of Oscar Piastri, although the Australian reduced the gap by four points in Belgium. Piastri finished fifth, two places ahead of Norris, who crossed the line seventh. Norris now has 103 points, while Piastri has 92.

Max Verstappen remains seventh, but the Red Bull driver is closing in on the McLaren pair. Verstappen claimed third place at Spa and now has 91 points, just one behind Piastri and 12 behind Norris.

Isack Hadjar continues to hold eighth place in the championship. The Red Bull driver produced another strong performance in Belgium, finishing sixth after starting the race from the back of the grid. His tally has now increased to 60 points.

Pierre Gasly remains ninth with 42 points, although the Alpine driver did not score any points in the Belgian Grand Prix. Liam Lawson completes the top ten with 39 points. The Racing Bulls driver also failed to add to his tally at Spa.

Arvid Lindblad is 11th with 22 points, followed by Franco Colapinto on 19 and Oliver Bearman on 18. Gabriel Bortoleto has 10 points, while Carlos Sainz Jr. and Alexander Albon have six and five respectively.

Esteban Ocon has three points and Fernando Alonso remains on one. Nico Hülkenberg, Valtteri Bottas, Sergio Pérez and Lance Stroll are still yet to score in the 2026 season.
