The FIM stewards have confirmed their final decision after checking Jorge Martin’s tyre pressure in the sprint race at Buriram International Circuit.

After Saturday’s sprint race, Martin’s bike was investigated because of a possible tyre pressure rule issue. In MotoGP, there is a minimum tyre pressure limit. Riders must stay above this limit for a certain percentage of the race. If they do not, they can receive a time penalty.

The weather in Buriram was very hot. Hot track conditions can make tyre pressure difficult to control. Teams sometimes try to start with lower pressure for better grip, but they must still follow the official rules.

Because of this, the stewards carefully checked Martin’s tyre data after the race. There were concerns that his front tyre pressure may have been too low for too long during the sprint.

However, after studying all the information, the FIM confirmed that Martin did not break the rules. His tyre pressure stayed within the legal limits for the required amount of time. This meant he avoided any penalty and kept his race result.

The decision was important because penalties for tyre pressure can change race results. In sprint races, riders receive automatic time penalties if they fail to meet the minimum pressure requirement.

The sprint itself was already dramatic. Pedro Acosta was declared the winner after Marc Marquez was told to drop one position following an on-track incident.

Martin, who now rides for Aprilia, finished inside the top positions and was able to keep his result after the investigation.

This situation shows how strict and technical MotoGP rules have become. Teams must carefully manage tyre temperature and pressure while still trying to be fast and competitive. Even after the race has finished, results can still change if there are rule checks.

In the end, Martin and his team were relieved. The stewards’ verdict meant there was no further action, and the sprint classification stayed the same.
