The Saturday sprint race was held under cloudy skies. After a trouble-free warm-up, the sprint began. Marc Márquez made a strong start and immediately took the lead. Behind him, Fabio Quartararo made contact with Franco Morbidelli just after the start, then collided with Enea Bastianini at Turn 1, which caused him to crash and brought out the yellow flags. While Márquez held firmly onto his lead, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli slotted in behind him.

On the same lap, Johann Zarco also came together with Bastianini, resulting in another crash. Alex Rins went down too, but he managed to get back on his bike and rejoin the race. By the end of the opening lap, Márquez led from Di Giannantonio, with Morbidelli, Luca Marini and Joan Mir following behind.

Just three laps into the race, Joan Mir and Fermín Aldeguer received track limits warnings. Francesco Bagnaia was struggling once again, running down in fourteenth place, while Brad Binder was forced to retire due to technical problems. Shortly afterwards, Aldeguer overtook Marini to move into fifth position. At the front, Márquez was steadily pulling away from the rest of the field.

On lap six, Pedro Acosta crashed at Turn 11, but he was able to remount and continue. Binder, who had been seen in the pits, also rejoined the sprint. The order at the front remained unchanged, with Márquez ahead of Di Giannantonio, Morbidelli, Marini and Aldeguer.

By lap eight, Márquez was given a track limits warning, offering a glimmer of hope to those behind if he were to make a mistake. Bagnaia also received a warning soon afterwards, but Márquez simply extended his advantage, opening up a gap of more than two seconds.

In the end, Marc Márquez dominated the race from start to finish, crossing the line as a comfortable winner. Fabio Di Giannantonio finished second, while Franco Morbidelli completed the podium in third place.
