Miguel Oliveira is going to miss the upcoming races after his successful surgery.

The Trackhouse rider suffered a crash during practice at the Indonesian MotoGP in Mandalika, which resulted in a helicopter transfer to the hospital. Doctors confirmed that Oliveira had multiple fractures in his radius bone.

On Monday, Oliveira was transferred to Lisbon, where they performed the surgery, implanting a plate to stabilize the bone. Oliveira said he is now focused on his recovery after the successful surgery. For now, he needs to rest for a week, but after that, he will try his best to get back on the bike.

At the moment, it looks like Oliveira is going to miss the races in Japan and Australia as he recovers.

Trackhouse stated on their official website, "On Monday, Miguel underwent surgery at the Sant'Ana Hospital, where a plate was implanted to stabilize his fracture. He will be resting this week as we evaluate his recovery. We'll update on his return as soon as we have more information."
