Marc Márquez won his 100th race after a close fight with Pedro Acosta. Acosta led for many laps, but Márquez took the lead later in the race and crossed the finish line first. The race also included a big crash at Turn 1 and several penalties.

The start of the race went well for both Pedro Acosta and Marc Márquez, but Márquez managed to hold onto his position. There was a huge crash involving five riders at Turn 1; the riders were Di Giannantonio, Bezzecchi, Martín, Fernández, and Aldeguer. The incident brought out a yellow flag.

Meanwhile, at the front, the duo of Marc Márquez and Pedro Acosta had a gap to Bagnaia in third place. After lap 1, the top 10 looked as follows: Márquez, Acosta, Bagnaia, Miller, Marini, Moreira, Quartararo, Bastianini, Mir, Razgatlioglu.

On lap 2, Acosta overtook Márquez on the inside and moved to the front. The riders were split between choosing both medium tyres or a medium and soft tyre. Meanwhile, Acosta at the front started to create a gap to Márquez.

Maverick Viñales had received a long-lap penalty. Meanwhile, the race stewards informed that the incident caused by Martín was under investigation and that Martín was in the medical centre.

Acosta created a gap of over 1.7s to Márquez, while Bagnaia was 1.2s behind Márquez. Jack Miller, who was in 4th place, was over 2s behind Bagnaia. There was an incident between Mir and Bastianini, and it was also put under investigation. It ended with Bastianini receiving a long-lap penalty for an unsafe rejoin.

On lap 10, the top 10 looked as follows: Acosta, Márquez, Bagnaia, Miller, Marini, Moreira, Mir, Ogura, Lecuona, Razgatlioglu.

Meanwhile, at the front, Márquez started to catch up to Acosta and minimize the gap between them.

Ogura was slowly making his way up, as he overtook Mir and moved to 7th. Bastianini, who had just finished his penalty, received shortly after another one for taking a shortcut.

On lap 14, Marc Márquez had a chance to overtake because Acosta made a mistake before a turn, but Márquez went wide, allowing Acosta to fight for his position back. However, their fight continued.

Márquez waited until the next lap before he cleanly overtook Acosta again and took the lead. A second yellow flag was caused by Mir crashing out.

Fabio Quartararo had received a long-lap penalty (for a shortcut at Turn 10), and Toprak Razgatlioglu received a track-limits warning.

On lap 21, the top 10 looked as follows: Márquez, Acosta, Bagnaia, Marini, Ogura, Moreira, Miller, Lecuona, Bastianini, Binder.

With 4 laps to go, Fabio Quartararo retired from the race. Ogura moved up and was in 5th place. Meanwhile, Márquez had a gap of over 2s to Acosta behind him.

On the last lap, Ogura managed to improve his position to 4th place, while Marc Márquez safely secured his victory. Behind him finished Acosta in second and Bagnaia, who rounded out the podium. Marc Márquez also celebrated his 100th victory.
