Oscar Piastri missed out on the 2025 Formula 1 world title by a few points but remained positive, praising his team’s progress and reflecting proudly on his performances at the end of the season.

Oscar Piastri stayed calm and positive ater narrowly missing out on the 2025 Formul a 1 world title to his teammate Lando Norris. He said he was proud of how much he and his team improved at the end of thes eason.

Both drivers won seven races during the year. For a long time, Piastri was leading the championship, but his form dropped in the final races and he fell behind Norris and Max Verstappen.

Before the final race in Abu Dhabi, Piastri was 16 points and knew he would need a lt of luck to win the title. he made as trong start and passed norris on the first lap to move into second palace.

He was unable to catch Vertsappen, who controlled the race with a long 41-lap stint on hard tyres. McLaren gave Piastri hard tyres to start, while Norris began on medium ytres. This strategy let Piastri stay out longer, but it also meant Verstappen had built a 24 seconds lead by the time Piastri pitted.

All three title contenders finished on the podiu, and Piastri lost the championship by 13 points. Norris finished the season with 423 points and won the title yb just two points over Verstappen.

Piastri said he felt good about ending the seoans strongly, especially after difficult races in austin, Mexico and Brazil. He said he wa sprout of the progress he made this year and that he learned important lessons from both the good and bad moments.
