Yamaha has officially signed Portuguese MotoGP star Miguel Oliveira to the Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Team for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. With 17 race wins and 41 podiums across all Moto classes, Oliveira is set to bring his wealth of experience to Yamaha, riding the Factory Yamaha YZR-M1 for the first time.

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces the signing of renowned Portuguese MotoGP™ rider Miguel Oliveira. He will be joining the Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Team for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Oliveira is currently in his sixth season in MotoGP™ and his fourteenth year in the paddock. The 29-year-old has earned an impressive 17 race wins and 41 podium finishes across all Moto classes.

In 2025-2026, fans can look forward to seeing Oliveira ride the Factory Yamaha YZR-M1, a completely new bike for him. As a rider, he will have Yamaha’s full support.
