Formula 1 2026 F1 season F1 F1 Las Vegas

Formula 1 will continue racing in Las Vegas until at least 2037 after a new 10-year extension was agreed between Formula 1, Las Vegas Grand Prix organisers and local authorities.

Formula 1 has confirmed that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain on the calendar until 2037 following a new long-term agreement.

The race returned to Formula 1 in 2023 and quickly became one of the sport’s most popular events. The new deal guarantees that Formula 1 cars will continue racing along the famous Las Vegas Strip for at least another decade.

The event is held on the 6.2-kilometre Las Vegas Strip Circuit, which passes some of the city's best-known landmarks, including Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Wynn Las Vegas and The Venetian Resort. Drivers reach speeds of more than 322 km/h on the street circuit.

Since joining the calendar, the Las Vegas Grand Prix has attracted large crowds and sold out every year between 2023 and 2025. According to organisers, the event has generated a total economic impact of $3.2 billion for Southern Nevada.

In 2025 alone, the race produced $43 million in state and local tax revenue, with $15 million supporting local education programmes.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation has also donated more than $2 million to local charities and educational projects. Organisers say hundreds of students from the Clark County School District have benefited from motorsport and STEM-related programmes linked to the event.

On track, Max Verstappen won the race in 2023 and 2025, while George Russell claimed victory in 2024. The 2024 race featured 113 overtakes, while Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive Formula 1 world championship that season.
