After missing three races due to a shoulder injury, Miguel Oliveira is ready to return to the MotoGP grid at the French Grand Prix in Le Mans. Following a successful medical check, the Portuguese rider is set to race again—pending final clearance at the track on Thursday.
Miguel Oliveira will officially return to race this weekend at the French Grand Prix, held at Le Mans. So finally, after missing three races due to an injury, he was declared fit by his doctors.
Oliveira hurt his left shoulder during a crash at the Argentina Grand Prix, where he dislocated a ligament near his collarbone and had to take time off to heal. During his recovery, Yamaha’s test rider Augusto Fernandez replaced him at the races in America, Qatar, and Spain.
Last week, Oliveira had a medical check-up in Milan. The results were good, and the doctors said his shoulder has fully healed. Now he will get back to his Yamaha YZR-M1 bike. Yet, he still needs to pass the required medical check at the track on Thursday.
