Francesco Bagnaia said he lost a strong chance to win the sprint race at the United States Grand Prix because of a problem with his bike. He explained that a vibration at the rear of the motorcycle made it very hard for him to ride at his best.

During the race, Bagnaia was leading and looked fast enough to win. However, as the laps went on, he began to feel a strange movement from the back of the bike. This problem reduced his confidence and made it more difficult to control the machine, especially when accelerating out of corners.

Because of this issue, Bagnaia could not push as much as he wanted. In MotoGP, even a small problem can make a big difference. Riders need full control and confidence to stay at the front, and the vibration stopped him from riding smoothly.

Near the end of the race, Jorge Martin was able to catch him. On the final lap, Martin overtook Bagnaia and took the victory. Bagnaia finished second, only a short distance behind the winner.

After the race, Bagnaia said the result was disappointing because he believed he had the pace to win. He also explained that the problem was not normal and that the team would need to study the data to understand what caused it. Fixing this issue will be important for the next races.

Even though he missed the win, there were still positives. Bagnaia showed strong speed and proved he can fight at the front. This will give him confidence for the rest of the season.

Sprint races in MotoGP are very short and intense, so there is little time to recover from any problem. One small issue, like rear vibration, can decide the result. In this case, it likely cost Bagnaia a victory that was within reach.
