The Atlassian Williams Formula 1 team has shown its new racing car colours for the 2026 season. It marks an important moment as the team enters a new era of the sport with big rule changes.
The Atlassian Williams F1 Team has just shown its new racing car colours for the 2026 Formula 1 season. This is a big moment for the team as it enters a new era of racing with major changes in the sport.
The team’s new car is called the FW48, and the colours are bright and full of energy. The main colour is a strong gloss blue, which reflects Williams’ long history in the sport and its new partnership with software company Atlassian. There are also black and white parts on the car, and a red and white line inspired by the look of championship-winning Williams cars from the past.
Team bosses and drivers were at the unveiling event in Grove, England, to show the new design to the people who work on the car. The design is made especially for the new 2026 rules, which have changed the shape of Formula 1 cars to help them race closer together on the track.
This season is important for Williams because the team wants to build on its strong performance in 2025, when it finished fifth in the Constructors’ Championship and scored podium results in races like Baku and Qatar.
The colours also show the team’s growing group of partners. A major partner, Barclays Bank, will be seen on the car and on the drivers’ helmets. Other global brands, including Anthropic, BNY, Wilkinson Sword and Nuveen, have also joined Williams for 2026.
Team Principal James Vowles said that the new design reflects the team’s ambition to race at the front again. He believes the car’s look shows Williams is ready for the challenges ahead.
Drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz also spoke about the livery. They said they were excited to race in the new colours and hope fans will enjoy seeing the car on track around the world.
Fans will see the FW48 race for the first time in the 2026 season, where Williams will try to fight for strong results in every Grand Prix.
