Arvid Lindblad, who will make his Formula 1 debut with Racing Bulls in 2026, is set for a unique experience before his rookie campaign even begins. The 18-year-old will drive an F1 car through the streets of Delhi as part of Red Bull Moto Jam 2026, an event that combines several motorsport disciplines including drifting, stunt biking, freestyle motocross and stunt car displays.

Speaking about the opportunity, according the Motorsport.com, Lindblad said he is thrilled to experience something so different so early in his F1 journey. He described the upcoming showrun as “a really cool event” and highlighted how special it will be to drive an F1 car in India for the first time, especially given his personal background.

Although born and raised in the United Kingdom, Lindblad has Swedish nationality as well and strong Indian heritage through his mother’s side of the family. He explained that India has always been part of his life and culture thanks to his Punjabi grandparents, and said he is proud to represent that part of his identity, including through the design of his helmet.

The Delhi showrun will take place shortly before the start of the 2026 Formula 1 season, giving local fans a rare chance to see a modern F1 car in action up close. Lindblad will line up next year alongside Liam Lawson at Racing Bulls, while Isack Hadjar moves up to Red Bull to partner Max Verstappen.
