Haas has revealed a bold special livery for the Japanese Grand Prix, bringing a touch of cinematic heritage to Suzuka with a design inspired by Godzilla.

The American team presented the new look in Tokyo ahead of the race weekend, marking the beginning of a fresh collaboration with Japanese entertainment company Toho. Best known for creating Godzilla, the legendary character has become one of Japan’s most recognisable cultural exports, appearing in dozens of films over several decades.

The partnership goes beyond a single race appearance. Haas confirmed that the agreement with Toho will run throughout the 2026 season, featuring integrated branding, digital campaigns, limited-edition merchandise and fan-focused activities at selected events.

“I’m really excited to see all the Japanese fans as we unveil our special Godzilla-themed livery in Tokyo. “This collaboration is a first and is truly exciting, it really shows a part of who we are as a team and our identity, so I hope fans enjoy this fun livery," said team principal Ayao Komatsu.

While Suzuka serves as the launch platform for the project, Haas is already planning another major activation later in the year. The United States Grand Prix in Austin is set to become the second key moment of the partnership, aligning with the North American release of Godzilla Minus One in early November.

On track, Haas arrives in Japan with strong momentum. Thanks to early-season points scored by Oliver Bearman, the team currently sits fourth in the constructors’ standings after the opening rounds, underlining a promising start to its 2026 campaign.
