Lewis Hamilton shared a short clip from Tokyo showing him performing donuts in a legendary Ferrari F40 with Kim Kardashian during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend.
Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton published a video on 6 April from Tokyo, capturing him driving a red Ferrari F40 through city streets.
In the clip, Hamilton is seen spinning the car and performing donuts, while Kim Kardashian sits in the passenger seat. Reacting to the experience, she briefly said: “That's insane.”
Kardashian, one of the most recognisable public figures globally, rose to prominence through the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and has since built a major business empire spanning fashion, beauty and media. With hundreds of millions of followers across social platforms, her presence alone significantly amplifies the reach of any content she appears in.
She was in Japan at the same time as the F1 race, accompanied by members of her family, including her children and her sister Khloé Kardashian.
The car itself, the Ferrari F40, is one of the most iconic road models ever produced by Ferrari. Built in the late 1980s, it is widely regarded as the last model developed under Enzo Ferrari and remains a symbol of the brand’s raw, uncompromising approach to performance.
The post quickly gained attention across social media, reflecting the global profile of both figures. It also stood out for its contrast to the usual Formula 1 environment, showing Hamilton in a more relaxed setting during the race weekend, while further boosting the crossover between motorsport and mainstream celebrity culture.
