FP2 at the Singapore GP was full of action and crashes, with Oscar Piastri finishing fastest, ahead of Isack Hadjar and Max Verstappen.
Right at the start of the second free practice session at the Singapore GP, all drivers went straight out onto the track as conditions were similar to what they would face in qualifying. Lando Norris was quickest early on, but the session was soon interrupted when George Russell crashed into the Turn 16 wall, damaging his front wing and suspension, causing the first red flag.
After the session restarted, Lewis Hamilton briefly led, but Esteban Ocon soon took the top spot. Liam Lawson also had a big crash at the pit entry, which brought out another red flag.
The final part of FP2 saw chaos in the pits. Leclerc accidentally hit Norris’ McLaren during a pit release, damaging the car’s front wing. Hamilton also had a big twitch and hit the wall, while Franco Colapinto and Bearman had scary moments but avoided crashes. Despite all the drama, the session continued, and drivers pushed hard for fast laps.
This doesn't happen often! 😮
