RB has revealed a special one-off livery for the VCARB 01, featuring a denim-inspired design, which will be showcased during the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
RB has become the second F1 team to unveil a special Singapore Grand Prix livery, following the one introduced by Mercedes as a highlight of their 75th partnership anniversary with Petronas.
On the other hand, their sister team Red Bull, has canceled their special livery as they believed it might have added too much weight to the car and have an impact on the performace.
The eye-catching livery, which will be seen at the Marina Bay Circuit under the lights, includes ‘zips’ along the sidepods and a denim pattern covering the front of the car designed by their apparel partner HUGO, part of fashion company Hugo Boss.
Since the iconic 'United Colours' Benetton liveries in the 1990s, no team has featured a fashion-focused design. On top RB drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, are also set to wear custom race suits and apparel.

Both RB drivers love the new look.
“Over the years we’ve seen fashion brands join forces with F1 teams and drivers, especially when it comes to outfits, but never have we seen any of them take this step in fully immersing themselves on track too.
“We’re really raising the stakes here and paving the way, showcasing that there’s so much more that can be done for brands to explore. I think we’re definitely going to open the eyes of these fashion houses and see more fashion-inspired liveries come to life,” appreciated the look of the livery Ricciardo.
Tsunoda then added: “Fashion is one of my passion points, so to see our team collaborating in such a unique way, beyond our team kit and our daily HUGO outfits is super cool, especially since no one else has ever done it before.
“Doing something like this is a real reflection of our identity and creativity; at VCARB, we’re looking to speak to fans from all industries: art, music, fashion, so this is a real step towards everything we’re striving to do as a team.”
