Trackhouse MotoGP has confirmed that Davide Brivio will leave the team at the end of the 2026 season. The experienced Italian manager helped build the American squad into a competitive MotoGP team and played an important role in its first race victory and strong recent results.
Trackhouse MotoGP Team has announced that Team Principal Davide Brivio will leave the team at the end of the 2026 MotoGP season. The decision was made together by both sides after two important years working together.
Brivio joined the American MotoGP team in 2024 when Trackhouse entered the championship. Since then, he has helped the team grow quickly and become one of the strongest independent teams on the grid.
Under Brivio’s leadership, Trackhouse achieved its first MotoGP race win with rider Raúl Fernández at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix. The team has also enjoyed a very strong start to the 2026 season and is currently near the top of the teams’ standings.
Young Japanese rider Ai Ogura has also impressed this season after taking his first MotoGP podium finish in France. Brivio played a big role in bringing Ogura to the team and helping young talent develop.
Brivio is one of the most respected managers in motorcycle racing. Before joining Trackhouse, he enjoyed major success with Suzuki Ecstar and Yamaha Factory Racing. He helped famous riders such as Valentino Rossi and Joan Mir win world championships.
Trackhouse thanked Brivio for his experience, hard work and leadership during the team’s early MotoGP journey. The team has not yet confirmed who will replace him for the 2027 season.
There are already rumours that Brivio could move to Honda HRC Castrol in the future, although no official announcement has been made yet.
