Formula 1 may bring the Turkish Grand Prix back to the calendar in 2027. According to the Turkish edition of Motorsport.com, discussions about a possible return of the Istanbul Park race are ongoing, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
The Turkish Grand Prix is increasingly being mentioned as a potential addition to the Formula 1 calendar from the 2027 season. The race last took place in 2021, and interest in its return has remained strong among fans and organisers.
According to the Turkish edition of Motorsport.com, discussions between Formula 1, the FIA and Istanbul Park stakeholders have advanced, with a possible agreement under consideration. However, no official confirmation has been issued yet, meaning the return is still not guaranteed.
The talks come as Formula 1 continues shaping its future calendar, with some European races expected to rotate in the coming years. This could open the door for circuits like Istanbul Park to come back.
If the project moves forward, the Turkish Grand Prix would add another popular and challenging venue to the schedule, but for now it remains a realistic possibility rather than a confirmed deal.
