MotoGP Summaries Marc Marquez Ducati Lenovo team Motogp 2026 Season
Marc Márquez has shared concerns about both his new Ducati bike and his physical condition. At the start of the season, the combination of a difficult machine and his recovery from injury is making things harder than expected.
The MotoGP champion Marc Márquez has said something a bit worrying about his new Ducati bike. He explained that the bike is “very critical”, but then he added something more surprising. He said that he is also “critical”, meaning he is not feeling at his best.
This shows that the problem is not only the machine. It is also about his body and fitness.
Last year, Márquez was very strong and even won the championship. But during the winter, he had a serious shoulder injury and needed surgery. He is still feeling the effects of this injury now, and it is making things harder for him at the start of the new season.
Because of this, he has not started the season as well as before. He has not finished on the main race podium yet, even though he did manage to win a sprint race.
Márquez is known as a very tough rider who does not complain much. So when he says he is struggling, it is something people take seriously. Some experts believe his physical condition could be worse than it looks from the outside.
There are also some problems with the Ducati bike itself. Márquez described it as “critical”, which means it is very sensitive and difficult to ride perfectly. Small mistakes can cause big problems. So the rider needs to be in top condition to handle it well.
At the moment, this combination is not ideal. The bike is demanding, and Márquez is not fully fit. This makes it harder for him to fight for wins like before.
Also, Ducati as a team is not as strong as last season. Other teams, like Aprilia, have started very well and are winning races.
Even with these challenges, Márquez is still fighting and trying to improve. He has shown in the past that he can come back from difficult situations.
So, the season is still long, but right now there are some clear worries for both Márquez and Ducati.
