The Saturday sprint at the British Grand Prix happened under cloudy skies. Fabio Quartararo had a strong start and stayed in the lead. Alex Marquez was in second place, and his teammate was fighting with Francesco Bagnaia for fourth.

Alex Marquez then passed his brother Marc Marquez with a great move. Jack Miller also had a good start and was in sixth place. Franco Morbidelli had a bad start and fell to 18th place by the end of lap 1.

Marc Marquez took the lead from Quartararo, and Johann Zarco moved up to eighth place on his Honda. On lap 2, Alex Márquez passed Quartararo and then passed his brother Marc, who made a mistake.

A yellow flag came out because Brad Binder crashed in Sector 2. Bagnaia then passed Quartararo. Fabio Di Giannantonio, who was in fifth place, started to catch up to Quartararo. Meanwhile, Morbidelli was moving up and reached 13th place.

Di Giannantonio tried to pass Quartararo but couldn’t do it at first. On lap 5, Alex Marquez had a lead of almost one second over Marc. Alex Rins had a problem and dropped to last place, losing a chance for points.

Pedro Acosta was the best KTM rider in 11th place. It was surprising because almost all other bike makers had riders in the points.

Quartararo and Di Giannantonio were fighting for fourth place. Di Giannantonio finally passed him. Bagnaia in third place started to fall behind the front two. Joan Mir got a warning for going off track. Marc Marquez was getting closer to his brother Alex in first.

There was a close fight between Marco Bezzecchi, Maverick Viñales (likely the rider you meant), and Jack Miller. Miller lost places to both. Morbidelli also got a track limit warning.

Di Giannantonio caught Bagnaia and passed him. Bagnaia passed back, but Di Giannantonio took the place again. Bagnaia may have made a mistake. Quartararo got close to them, and Zarco joined the group too, making the race more exciting.

Zarco got a track limit warning and lost a position to Bezzecchi. With two laps to go, Bezzecchi passed Quartararo and then caught Bagnaia. Di Giannantonio had built a small gap ahead of them.

On the last lap, Bezzecchi made a great move to pass Bagnaia. Zarco passed Quartararo and then passed Bagnaia too. Quartararo tried to pass Bagnaia again but couldn’t.

In the end, Alex Marquez won the sprint. His brother Marc Marquez finished second. Pedro Acosta made it to eighth place and scored points.
