Russell produced a flawless drive in Spielberg to claim his second victory of the season, cutting 10 points from Antonelli's championship advantage. The Mercedes duo continue to occupy the top two positions in the standings, with Antonelli leading on 171 points and Russell moving up to 131.

Lewis Hamilton slipped to third in the championship after finishing fifth in Austria. The Ferrari driver now has 125 points and trails Russell by six after losing second place in the standings.

McLaren saw another change in the order between its two drivers. Oscar Piastri finished fourth at the Red Bull Ring and moved ahead of team-mate Lando Norris in the championship. The Australian climbs to fourth place on 80 points, one point ahead of Norris, who drops to fifth.

Charles Leclerc endured another difficult weekend in Spielberg. After finishing only eighth, the Ferrari driver slipped to sixth in the championship and now trails both McLaren drivers.

Max Verstappen secured second place in Austria. Although the Red Bull driver remains seventh overall, the result allowed him to close the gap to the drivers ahead of him in the standings.

Isack Hadjar moved up to eighth place in the championship. The Red Bull driver finished sixth at the Austrian Grand Prix and overtook Pierre Gasly in the standings, with Hadjar now on 42 points compared to Gasly’s 41, who drops to ninth after not scoring in Austria.
