This morning’s 45-minute-long session started slowly at first. The rain had left wet patches, and the racing line was still drying. The riders took it easy, with not everyone going out on track.

The first measured laps were in the 1:56s to 1:51s range. As the riders got used to the track conditions, they were ready to improve their times with each attempt. A few riders even managed to break into the 1:49s range, like Francesco Bagnaia and Diogo Moreira.

10 minutes into the session, Marco Bezzecchi held the lead with a time of 1:48.045s. The rest of the top 10 looked as follows: Bezzecchi, Bagnaia, Moreira, Martin, Acosta, Binder, Miller, Mir, Marini, and Di Giannantonio.

Still, there were only 17 riders with lap times, as both Marc Márquez and Fabio Quartararo were still in the pits. But the track conditions were suiting the Pramac Yamaha riders, as both were sitting in 5th and 6th place.

With 30 minutes left in the session, Marc Márquez was on track, getting used to the bike and the conditions. His first time put him in 20th place, behind Cal Crutchlow.

Fabio Quartararo got on track and managed to break into the top 10, while Marc Márquez was steadily making his way up the standings.

The times at the front became much quicker, with Francesco Bagnaia taking the lead with a time of 1:46.971s.

With 20 minutes left in the session, the top 10 looked as follows: Aldeguer, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Martin, Moreira, Bastianini, Quartararo, Morbidelli, Acosta, and Marini.

As the session neared its end, not much was happening. The riders spent most of the time in the pits, leaving only a few on track. Luca Marini managed to improve his position and moved up to 5th place. Maverick Viñales, who was mostly outside the top 10, managed to put in a decent lap and jumped to 6th place.

Marc Márquez, who was using the empty track to practice, managed to break into the top 10, sitting in 10th place.

Pedro Acosta had an incredible run, taking the lead with a time of 1:46.794s. The first yellow flag of the session was brought out by Francesco Bagnaia, who had technical problems at Turn 1.

Meanwhile, the lead quickly changed, as Viñales, Martin, and Di Giannantonio overtook Acosta in the standings.

With the chequered flag out, there were only a few improvements at the end. However, Di Giannantonio led the practice session, with Martin in second and Ogura in third. Marc Márquez ended the session in 15th place.
