Fermín Aldeguer is working hard to return to the MotoGP grid after suffering a serious leg injury earlier this year. The young Spanish rider hopes he can race again at the upcoming round in Brazil if doctors confirm he is fit.
Spanish rider Fermín Aldeguer hopes he can soon return to racing in MotoGP. The young rider is recovering from a serious leg injury and is working hard to become fit again.
Aldeguer rides for Gresini Racing MotoGP on a Ducati bike. If his recovery continues well and he passes the official medical check before the race weekend, he could ride again very soon.
Earlier this year, Aldeguer broke his femur during a training accident. Because of this injury, he missed important pre-season tests and the first races of the new MotoGP season. He also could not take part in testing sessions in Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia and at Chang International Circuit in Thailand. These tests are very important for riders because they help them learn the bike and prepare for the season.
Even though he lost a lot of track time, Aldeguer has been working hard on his recovery. After surgery, he started rehabilitation and physical training. Recently he has been able to ride motorbikes again during practice sessions, which is a good sign for his return.
The young Spaniard hopes to come back to racing at the MotoGP round in Brazil. MotoGP has not raced in Brazil for many years, so the circuit will be new for many riders. Because of this, Aldeguer may not be at a big disadvantage even though he missed some testing.
If the doctors allow him to race, it will be his first MotoGP race since the test at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia last year. That test was his first experience riding a MotoGP bike.
Aldeguer is considered one of the most talented young riders in motorcycle racing. He was born in Spain in 2005 and quickly became known for his speed and strong results in the smaller classes of the championship.
Now his main goal is simple. He wants to return to the MotoGP grid, gain more experience with his Ducati machine, and continue building his career in the top class of motorcycle racing. Many fans are waiting to see him back on track soon.
