BK8 Gresini Racing have revealed their new bike colours for the 2026 MotoGP season at a special event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The team kept their famous light blue style but gave it a stronger and more modern look as they prepare for the new year.
The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team have shown the new colours for their 2026 season at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia just before the pre-season tests.
The team kept its light blue colour that fans know from past years, but the shade now looks richer and stronger and the design is cleaner. They removed chrome details to give the bike a more modern and racing-focused look.
Alex Marquez, who finished second in the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, was at the launch in person and spoke about how happy he is with the new bike and how excited he is to start the new season.
Fermin Aldeguer, his team-mate, could not be there because he is still recovering from a broken leg he suffered in training. He joined the event by video call and said he misses the team and the bike and wants to get back to full fitness before racing again.
The team’s owner said they are proud of the new design and feel ready to compete hard in 2026 with two very talented riders and a strong crew behind them. She also mentioned that the team is celebrating its 30th season in MotoGP, and the launch included a tribute to Fausto Gresini, the founder of the team.
After the launch, the team will go straight to the Sepang Test in Malaysia, where Alex Marquez will ride the new bike for the first time in 2026.
