Marc Marquez will return to MotoGP action this weekend after doctors confirmed he is fit to race at Mugello. The Ducati rider missed the last event because of injury but is now ready to get back on his bike in front of thousands of Italian fans.
MotoGP star Marc Márquez has been given permission to race at the Italian Grand Prix this weekend after recovering from injury.
The Spanish rider missed the last race after he hurt his right foot during a crash at the French MotoGP earlier this month. He also had surgery on his shoulder because of an older problem that had been causing pain for a long time. Doctors have now checked him again and said he is fit to ride at Mugello in Italy.
Marquez said he will be careful when he returns to the track. He explained that his main goal is not only to win races straight away, but also to stay healthy for the rest of the season. The Ducati rider admitted he still needs time to get back to his best form.
The Italian MotoGP is very important for Ducati because it is the team’s home race. Fans at Mugello are expected to give Marquez a very warm welcome after his successful return from injury. Last year, he performed strongly at the same circuit, which gives supporters hope for another good weekend.
