The sprint session took place in sunny weather. The rider completed a warm-up lap without any problems, allowing the sprint to start as planned.

The start went well for Alex Marquez, as he took the lead. Marc Marquez lost some positions, but he managed to gain one back at Turn 1. Fabio Quartararo also had a good start, just like Franco Morbidelli, who moved into second place. Fermín Aldeguer was in fourth, while Bagnaia lost positions and dropped to eighth.

Pedro Acosta was fast on the first lap. He made more overtakes and passed Aldeguer for fourth place. Joan Mir crashed out after contact with Jack Miller. Di Giannantonio was now fighting for position. He overtook Bagnaia and moved into seventh place.

Marc improved to second place and started chasing his brother for the lead. On lap 3, there was a battle for sixth between Di Giannantonio and Quartararo. Race stewards confirmed that Miller received a long lap penalty for causing the crash with Mir.

Marco Bezzecchi, who had a poor qualifying, was now in tenth place. Meanwhile, Bagnaia lost more positions and dropped out of the top 10. Marc began closing the gap to Alex.

Aldeguer was defending his position from Acosta, which allowed Quartararo and Di Giannantonio to catch up. On lap 6, Marc Márquez took the lead back from his brother without much effort. Bagnaia was now down in 13th place and seemed to be having problems.

Quartararo lost positions to Di Giannantonio, Viñales, Binder, and Bezzecchi. It looked like he had another issue with his rear tyre.

At the front, Marc started building a gap, while Aldeguer slowly caught up to Morbidelli, making a battle for the final laps likely. Johann Zarco, who usually performs well, was struggling this time in Aragon.

With three laps to go, Aldeguer overtook Morbidelli and moved into third place. A yellow flag appeared in Sector 1 due to a technical issue with Augusto Fernández's bike.

The last two laps were without drama. Acosta tried to overtake Morbidelli but was unsuccessful.

Marc Marquez took the sprint victory, with his brother Alex finishing second and rookie Fermín Aldeguer rounding out the top 3.
