The Saturday sprint started under sunny weather, with fans cheering from the grandstands all around. After a successful warm-up, the short race began.

The start went well for Alex Márquez. Marc managed to dive on Quartararo with Pedro Acosta closing in, but Quartararo defended his position and held on to second place. On the other hand, Franco Morbidelli lost positions during the start. A few turns later, Marc Márquez tried another attack, which he managed, but made contact with Quartararo — allowing Acosta to move ahead. This set up a thrilling battle between Marc, Quartararo, and Acosta. After the first lap, the top looked as follows: Alex, Marc, Quartararo, Acosta, Di Giannantonio.

Meanwhile, Alex started to build a gap ahead of his brother Marc. Di Giannantonio launched an overtaking maneuver on Acosta, moving up to 4th.

With 7 laps to go, the top 10 looked like this: Alex, Marc, Quartararo, Di Giannantonio, Acosta, Binder, Bastianini, Zarco, Marini, Bezzecchi. There was a battle between Bezzecchi and Marini, where Bezzecchi managed to improve up to 9th place.

The first yellow flag of the race came on lap 7, caused by Morbidelli and Martin crashing between sectors 3 and 4. As the riders started lap 8, the race stewards announced that the incident would be investigated after the race. Shortly after, another yellow flag was brought out by a collision between Aldeguer and Bezzecchi, which will also be reviewed post-race.

Meanwhile, at the front, Alex extended his lead over Marc to more than a second. Further back, the KTM trio of Binder, Acosta, and Bastianini were fighting among themselves for 5th place. Just 4 laps before the end, Alex Márquez made a mistake and crashed at turn 10, throwing away his chance at victory. The top 5 then stood as: Marc, Quartararo, Di Giannantonio, Binder, Acosta.

At the front, Marc stretched his gap to Quartararo to 1.3s, while Quartararo had a similar margin over Di Giannantonio in third. Behind them, the KTM trio continued their fierce fight, with Acosta holding the advantage.

As the action entered the final lap, Marc secured his sprint win, while the KTM riders battled until the very end. The top five finished as follows: Marc, Quartararo, Di Giannantonio, Acosta, Bastianini.
