Maverick Viñales will be back on track this weekend at the Valencia Grand Prix after taking time away to recover from a shoulder injury. The Spanish rider has missed several race weekends and now aims to finish the season with a strong performance.
Maverick Viñales is set to make his return to racing this weekend at the Valencia Grand Prix. The Spanish rider from the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team has been away from recent race weekends while concentrating on recovering from a shoulder injury.
Viñales first hurt his shoulder during the German Grand Prix in July. Because of this, he had to miss the next three races while he rested and received treatment. He came back after the summer break at the Barcelona round, where he finished in 13th place. However, the following races proved to be difficult for him, and he was still not fully fit. During the Indonesian Grand Prix, Viñales chose to withdraw after the Q1 session so that he could focus fully on healing.
Now, after taking extra time to recover properly, Viñales is ready to ride again in Valencia. This will be his first race appearance since Indonesia. The Valencia GP is the final round of the season, and while Viñales has faced many challenges this year, the race offers an opportunity to end the season on a positive note.
The team and fans will be hoping that the extended recovery period has helped him regain strength and confidence on the bike. Returning to racing after injury is never easy, but Viñales has shown determination throughout his career, and this weekend will be another important step in his journey back to full form.
