Mercedes will introduce a special front wing design for the Japanese Grand Prix, adding a distinctive visual element to the W17 for the Suzuka weekend.
Mercedes has revealed a one-off front wing design for Suzuka, bringing a fresh visual identity to its car for the Japanese Grand Prix. The concept was created in collaboration with Y-3 and reflects a strong influence of Japanese design. The front wing features sharp, expressive elements that give the W17 a more aggressive and eye-catching appearance on track.
The Brackley-based team is the third to unveil a special look for the weekend. Racing Bulls has introduced the most noticeable change overall, while Haas has opted for a bold Godzilla-themed livery.
Mercedes arrives in Japan in excellent form after a strong start to the season. The team has already secured two race wins and two pole positions in the opening rounds, establishing itself at the front of the field.
In the drivers’ standings, George Russell leads the championship by four points ahead of team-mate Kimi Antonelli. Mercedes also tops the constructors’ standings, holding a 31-point advantage over Ferrari after two races.
