Both Red Bull-backed teams remained at Suzuka after the Japanese Grand Prix, where a two-day Pirelli tyre test is taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Red Bull and Racing Bulls have stayed on at Suzuka following the Japanese Grand Prix, where they are taking part in a two-day Pirelli tyre test starting today and continuing on Wednesday.
The programme is focused solely on tyre development, with no performance comparisons or new parts being evaluated. Such tests are a standard part of Pirelli’s ongoing work, providing valuable data for future seasons.
According to RacingNews365, Isack Hadjar is driving for Red Bull during the test and will be the team’s only representative on track. Max Verstappen is not involved, having flown home after the race weekend. Rumours about a possible appearance from reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda have also not materialised.
Racing Bulls are also participating in the test at Suzuka, contributing to the data collection for Pirelli. The team is expected to run its current race drivers, Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson, across the two days.
Testing will continue on Wednesday, with Pirelli continuing to evaluate different tyre compounds for the 2027 season.
