Brad Binder's search for a MotoGP ride in 2027 has taken another twist after Tech3 confirmed it is not interested in signing the South African. While the experienced KTM rider looks for his next opportunity, teams are already preparing for MotoGP's new era with the arrival of 850cc bikes.

Brad Binder is one of the biggest names still looking for a MotoGP ride in 2027. However, one team has already made its decision. Tech3 boss Guenther Steiner has confirmed that the French team is not interested in signing the South African rider.

Binder has raced with KTM in MotoGP since 2020. During that time, he became the first rider to win a premier-class race for KTM when he took victory at Brno in 2020. He has also won another MotoGP race, finished fourth in the 2023 championship, and has often been one of KTM's most reliable riders.

Despite his experience, Tech3 is looking in a different direction. Steiner explained that the team wants one experienced rider and one young talent for the new MotoGP era, but Binder is not part of those plans. Reports suggest Tech3 is looking at other riders, including Luca Marini, while Moto2 riders are also being considered for a promotion.

The 2027 season will be very important because MotoGP will introduce new 850cc bikes and new technical rules. Many teams are already thinking about the future and deciding which riders will help them adapt to the new motorcycles as quickly as possible.

Binder has not given up on staying in MotoGP. He recently said that he expects to know much more about his future during the summer break. He believes there is still one place available, and if that chance disappears, he will start looking at other options.

The South African is still working hard with the KTM factory team. Although he has not been able to fight for podiums regularly this season, he remains one of the most experienced riders on the grid. His strong race pace and ability to perform in difficult conditions make him an attractive option for several manufacturers.

For now, Binder's future is still unclear. Tech3 has closed the door, but other opportunities could still appear before the 2027 rider market is complete. The coming weeks are expected to be important as teams continue to finalise their line-ups for MotoGP's new era.
