Jorge Martín has faced a tough 2025 season, but he is determined to finish strong. After a serious crash in Japan left him with a fractured collarbone, the MotoGP rider has started rehabilitation at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre in Austria to prepare for the final races of the year.
Jorge Martín had a challenging season so far in 2025. He has faced several crashes and setbacks, and at one point it seemed like his future with Aprilia could be in doubt. Despite all these difficulties, he is determined to finish the year on a strong note and continue giving his best work on the track.
Despite the Sprint Race in Japan, Martín had a serious crash that caused him to fracture and dislocate his right collarbone. The break was complicated because the bone was in three pieces. The doctors carried out a surgery to put everything back in the right place. They used screws and a special plate to hold the bone together and make sure it did not move again. The operation was difficult, but it went well, and the doctors were satisfied with the results.
After the surgery, instead of rushing back to race in Malaysia, Martín decided to go to Salzburg in Austria. There, he will recover at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre, a place known for helping top athletes recover from injuries and regain their strength. Many famous riders have trained there, including Marc Márquez, who also went there during a long rehabilitation period. The main goal is to make sure Martín can return to racing for the final two rounds of the championship, which are Portugal and Valencia in November.
Even while he was still in hospital, Martín did not stop working on his recovery. He started light exercises, including cycling on an exercise bike and some gentle cardio training. He wants to stay active as much as possible so that his muscles do not weaken. He is also keeping a strong and positive attitude, saying that challenges and tough times help a person grow stronger if they face them with courage and determination.
Martín is already thinking about the next season. He wants to come back fully recovered and in top form for the 2026 season. His plan is to start preparing during the official tests in Valencia later in November. He knows that staying focused and following his rehabilitation plan carefully will give him the best chance to return to racing quickly and safely.
His fans have been supporting him through this difficult period, and Martín is grateful for their encouragement. Despite the pain, he remains committed to his goals and is motivated to finish this year on a strong note, showing determination and resilience.
