Marc Márquez has spoken honestly about his difficult weekend at the MotoGP race in Austin. He is a rider who has won many times at this track, but this time things were not easy for him.

During practice, he had a crash at Turn 10. It was a fast part of the track, and he slid into the barriers. After the crash, he looked in pain and had to return slowly to the garage. Even though doctors checked him and said he was fit to ride, he was still uncomfortable.

He explained that the pain did not fully go away, and he knew the rest of the weekend would be hard. Riding a MotoGP bike needs great strength, especially in the arms and shoulders. If a rider feels pain, it becomes much harder to control the bike, brake late, and push at high speed.

This problem is not new for him. He is still recovering from a serious shoulder injury from last season. Because of this, he is not yet at his best level. He even said that the problem is not the bike, but himself.

In the past, Austin was one of his strongest tracks. He has won there many times and was often much faster than other riders. But now the situation is different. Injuries, strong rivals, and small mistakes are making things more difficult for him.

Another issue during the weekend was a penalty after contact with another rider in the sprint race. This made his race even harder and reduced his chances of fighting for a top result.

Even so, he did not give up. He continued riding, trying to improve step by step. This shows his strong mentality. Many top riders say that coming back from injury is one of the hardest things in sport, not only physically but also mentally.

It is also important to understand how demanding MotoGP is. Riders must deal with very high speeds, strong braking forces, and long races in hot conditions. Even a small injury can make a big difference in performance.

Márquez knows he needs time. Recovery does not happen quickly, especially after serious injuries. He is staying patient and working with his team to improve both his fitness and his results.

In the end, this weekend in Austin was not about winning. It was about learning, recovering, and moving forward.
