FP2
The first morning session before qualifying is Free Practice 2, which serves as a warm-up and a last chance to test different tyre configurations.

The session started quickly, with riders wasting no time getting on track. Early lap times were in the range of 1:32–1:34. After the first ten minutes, the top five were: Bezzecchi, Marini, Marc, Acosta, Fernández, and Oliveira.

Most riders ran a soft rear tyre, with many also on a soft front, though some chose medium or hard. Despite riding with pain from a crash last weekend, Bezzecchi showed incredible pace and was the first rider to break into the 1:29s. Raul Fernández, Aprilia’s second rider, continued his impressive form this weekend.

Meanwhile, Fermín Aldeguer, strong yesterday, was down in 18th place, while his teammate Alex was also outside the top 10. On the other hand, both Bagnaia and Marc Márquez were inside the top 10 (7th and 6th respectively), though they will start Q1 as they missed out on the top 10 on Friday.

With 20 minutes gone, the top five were: Bezzecchi, Acosta, Fernández, Oliveira, and Marini. As the session progressed, Bagnaia slipped to 9th, while Fabio Quartararo dropped to 16th after earlier running in the top 10. Acosta remained the only KTM rider in the top 10, sitting 2nd. Maverick Viñales, still nursing a shoulder injury, was down in 19th. With just a minute left, the first yellow flag of the session came out after Miguel Oliveira crashed at Turn 2.

At the chequered flag, some riders managed to improve their times. The final top five were: Bezzecchi, Quartararo, Acosta, Aldeguer, Oliveira.

Q1
The first part of qualifying offers two riders the chance to advance into Q2. The participants were: Bagnaia, Marc Márquez, Zarco, Morbidelli, Di Giannantonio, Binder, Bastianini, Miller, Viñales, and Chantra.

Times opened in the 1:30s, with some riders in the 1:37s. Apart from Bastianini, who chose a hard front tyre, all riders ran a soft front. After five minutes, the top two were Di Giannantonio and Morbidelli. Positions shuffled frequently between Marc Márquez, Morbidelli, Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia, and Binder.

Marc Márquez soon improved and moved into 1st place. After pit stops, riders returned for final attempts. The VR46 duo improved but not enough for significant position changes. Di Giannantonio then put in a strong lap to take 1st from Márquez. Bagnaia, struggling, slipped to 6th. Márquez had one of his laps deleted after running wide.

With the chequered flag out, a yellow flag was waved after Bastianini crashed at Turn 1. With no further improvements, the two riders advancing to Q2 were Di Giannantonio and Marc Márquez.

Q2
The riders in the final qualifying session were: Bezzecchi, Aldeguer, Acosta, Marini, Fernández, Mir, Quartararo, Rins, Oliveira, Alex Márquez, Di Giannantonio, and Marc Márquez.

Opening times ranged from 1:29 to 1:31. Marco Bezzecchi immediately went fastest, taking provisional pole. After five minutes, Fabio Quartararo crashed at Turn 15, bringing out a yellow flag. He rushed back to the pits to rejoin with his second bike.

The top three early on were: Bezzecchi, Acosta, and Marini. After quick pit stops, the order remained unchanged, with Raul Fernández in 4th and Marc Márquez stuck in 10th, unable to improve.

Bezzecchi then set the first lap in the 1:28s. Alex Márquez attempted a flying lap but crashed at Turn 13, ending his chances. Aldeguer improved to 2nd, with Alex Rins in 3rd.

In the final minutes, Raul Fernández moved into 3rd. Marc Márquez, however, remained down in 12th. At the chequered flag, Rins crashed at Turn 16.

The final Q2 order was: Bezzecchi, Aldeguer, Fernández, Rins, Acosta, Marini, Alex Márquez, Quartararo, Marc Márquez, Oliveira, Di Giannantonio, Mir.
