Fabio Di Giannantonio delivered a standout performance in qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, securing pole position in a session full of drama and surprises.

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider had to fight his way through Q1 to even reach the pole shootout, making his result even more impressive. He then set a decisive lap of 1:17.410 in Q2, which proved unbeatable despite several late challenges and incidents across the field.

Interestingly, Di Giannantonio’s pole-winning time was slightly slower than the benchmark set earlier in Q1 by Marco Bezzecchi, underlining how track conditions evolved throughout the session. Despite a crash in Q2, the Italian recovered to secure pole position. Bezzecchi remained competitive in Q2 and ultimately secured second place.

Marc Márquez completed the front row in third, less than a tenth of a second away from pole. The Spaniard showed strong pace throughout qualifying, even though his session was disrupted by a crash.

Yamaha also enjoyed a positive session, with Fabio Quartararo taking fourth place on the grid. He was followed by reigning former champion Jorge Martín in fifth and Ai Ogura in sixth. The top ten was completed by Fermín Aldeguer, Alex Márquez, Pedro Acosta and Johann Zarco, highlighting the close competition across the field at the demanding Goiânia circuit.
