FP2

This 30-minute session was mostly used as a warm-up before the riders headed into qualifying. The lap times started in the 1:55s to 1:53s range. As always, the riders were improving their times with each lap. The lead of the session was changing quickly.

Five minutes into the session, the top 10 looked as follows: M. Márquez, Fernandez, Aldeguer, Ogura, A. Márquez, Di Giannantonio, Mir, Bezzecchi, Bagnaia, Moreira.

The riders chose different tyre configurations, opting for combinations of medium and soft tyres or both medium tyres.

Raul Fernandez, who put in another incredible lap, was the first rider to break into the 1:52s range and move into the lead of the session. Shortly after him, Marc Márquez finished his attempt, and even though he joined Fernandez in the 1:52s range, it wasn't enough for him to move into the lead.

With the session halfway done, the riders made their way back to the pits. The top 10 looked as follows: Fernandez, M. Márquez, Aldeguer, Acosta, Ogura, Mir, A. Márquez, Di Giannantonio, Bastianini, Viñales.

With 7 minutes left, the riders returned to the track for late improvements. So far, Marco Bezzecchi found improvement as he moved to 4th place. Even Fabio Quartararo, who was mostly outside the top 10, used the time on the empty track to improve to 9th place. Marc Márquez put in an incredible attempt as he moved to the lead of the session. Shortly after him, Viñales found a late improvement and moved into 2nd place. However, Raul Fernandez, who had been in the lead for the majority of the session, was not giving up easily. Fernandez took the lead back with a time of 1:52.050.

With the chequered flag out, the top 10 finished as follows: Fernandez, M. Márquez, Viñales, Aldeguer, Ogura, Acosta, Di Giannantonio, Bezzecchi, Moreira, Mir.
