The start of the sprint went well for Marco Bezzecchi, who managed to get into the lead at Turn 1, but it didn’t last for long, as his teammate Jorge Martin took the lead from Turn 3. Di Giannantonio had a very bad start, and he dropped down to 14th place. Marc Márquez dropped to 5th place behind Fabio Quartararo.

As the sprint progressed, Bezzecchi was attacked by Bagnaia for third place. After the first lap, the top 10 looked as follows: Martin, Bezzecchi, Bagnaia, Quartararo, M. Márquez, Acosta, Mir, A. Márquez, Zarco, Ogura.

On lap 2, there was a crash at Sector 2, where both Folger and Marini crashed at Turn 6. At the front, Martin made a gap of over 0.782s to Bezzecchi in second. Mir was the best Honda rider so far, sitting now in 6th place, while Marc Márquez lost another two positions to Acosta and Mir.

On lap 3, there was another yellow flag. This one was caused by Fabio Di Giannantonio, who had crashed, but he managed to get back on the bike and continue.

Meanwhile, Martin made a gap of over 1 second, while Quartararo lost his position to Pedro Acosta. At the end of lap 5, Bastianini crashed at the last turn.

With the sprint being halfway done, the top 10 looked as follows: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Acosta, Quartararo, Mir, M. Márquez, A. Márquez, Ogura, Fernández.

On lap 7, there was another yellow flag. This one was caused by Franco Morbidelli at Sector 4. At the front, Martin still had a gap of over 1 second, while Bagnaia created a gap of over 1 second to Bezzecchi in third.

With 3 laps to go, the top 10 looked as follows: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Acosta, Quartararo, Mir, M. Márquez, A. Márquez, Ogura, Fernández.

Ai Ogura caught up to Alex Márquez and easily overtook him, moving into 8th place. With 2 laps to go, another yellow flag was out. This one was caused by Raul Fernández crashing at Sector 2. Before the last lap, Marc Márquez had a horrible crash at Sector 4.

And it was Jorge Martin winning the sprint race in Le Mans. In second finished Bagnaia, with Bezzecchi rounding out the podium.
