The sprint session was delayed due to the weather and the track being repaired. Fabio Di Giannantonio, who got the pole position in qualifying, managed to hold his position. Marc Márquez fought his way up to second place. Fabio Quartararo, who started in 4th place, dropped one position back.

Johann Zarco was the first rider to crash and brought out the yellow flag. As the short race progressed, Marc Márquez was losing 1.4 seconds to Di Giannantonio at the front.

The home hero Diogo Moreira was fighting in 10th place. Further at the front, there was a battle for third between Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín. Just like there was a battle for 5th between Quartararo and Ai Ogura.

At lap 5, the top 10 looked as follows: Di Giannantonio, Marc Márquez, Bezzecchi, Martín, Quartararo, Ogura, Alex Márquez, Bagnaia, Acosta, Moreira.

At the start of lap 6, Ogura overtook Quartararo into Turn 1, but Quartararo took his position back at the next turn.

In an attempt to start catching up to Di Giannantonio at the front, Marc Márquez set the fastest lap and even started closing the gap. Behind them were Quartararo and Ogura fighting closely for 5th position.

At lap 8, there was a second yellow flag, this time caused by Joan Mir.

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu was the first rider to receive a track limits warning. Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta caught up to Francesco Bagnaia in 8th place, trying for an overtake.

On lap 10, the third yellow flag was brought out, this time by Maverick Viñales, who had crashed at Sector 2. Meanwhile, at the front, Marc Márquez was right behind Di Giannantonio. With 3 laps to go, Marc Márquez overtook Di Giannantonio.

With the sprint coming to an end, Di Giannantonio was trying to get his first place back with only a few turns to go. And it was Marc Márquez who held onto first place until the end. Di Giannantonio finished in second, with Martín rounding out the podium.
