The first trailer for The Kaiser, a new film inspired by the early career of Michael Schumacher, has been unveiled.
The first official trailer for The Kaiser has been released, offering an early look at a film centred on the rise of Michael Schumacher before he became one of the sport’s greatest names.
Based on information shared by the producers, the story follows the pressure, challenges and key moments surrounding Schumacher’s breakthrough into Formula 1 in 1991. The project aims to revisit the early stages of a career that would later redefine the championship.
The production team describes the film as a cinematic short feature created as a concept for a larger future project. They also stress that the trailer and film were made using traditional filmmaking methods, without the use of generative AI.
The role of Schumacher is played by Jivko Sirakov. The cast also includes Ayrton Senna, portrayed by Kristo Stoichkov, while Dimiter D. Marinov appears as Eddie Jordan. Other roles include Raymond Steers as Willi Weber and Viktoria Antonova as Corinna Schumacher.
No release date for the full project has yet been confirmed.
