Formula 1 2026 F1 season Cadillac F1

Cadillac has revealed the first look at its Formula 1 colours for the 2026 season and did so in true American style. The new team presented its two-sided car livery in a commercial aired during the Super Bowl, where the Seattle Seahawks faced the New England Patriots.

Cadillac has officially presented the first livery for its Formula 1 debut season in 2026. Instead of a traditional launch event or circuit presentation, the American brand chose one of the biggest sporting broadcasts in the world, the Super Bowl. The yet-to-be-named car carries an unusual asymmetric colour scheme, pairing a very light shade, close to white, on one side with a deep black tone on the other, giving the design a distinctive split appearance.

The advert aired during the NFL championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, giving Cadillac exposure well beyond the usual Formula 1 audience.

Cadillac will enter Formula 1 in 2026 under the sport’s new technical regulations. The team is set to use Ferrari power units, at least in the initial phase of its F1 programme.

Its driver line-up will feature experienced race winners Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas, providing the American project with valuable experience ahead of its first season in the championship.

With a completely new regulatory era starting in 2026, Cadillac will hope the reset in technical rules helps it reduce the gap to established teams more quickly, although its true competitiveness will only become clear once testing and racing begin.
