Ducati has revealed two new special versions of the Panigale V2 to celebrate their MotoGP riders, Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez. Each bike has been designed to reflect the riders it represents, so they are easy to tell apart. The Bagnaia version uses a red and black camouflage style, similar to the design seen on his helmet and racing number in the 2025 season. The Marc Márquez version shows large number 93 graphics on the side, echoing the special livery he used during the Barcelona test in 2024, which was his first time on track as an official Ducati factory rider. Both editions also display the riders’ race number clearly on the front fairing.

These motorcycles are based on the Panigale V2 S, the same model that both riders have used for training this year. Ducati has fitted them with several upgrades to improve how they feel and perform on the road or track. One of the most important changes is the use of forged aluminium wheels. These wheels are around 1.5 kilograms lighter than the normal cast wheels, and Ducati says they reduce rotational inertia by 27 percent at the front and 21 percent at the rear. This means the bike should turn more easily and respond quickly when changing direction.

The bikes also come with an adjustable Öhlins steering damper, which helps keep the front end steady, especially at high speeds. There are clip-on handlebars that create a sportier riding position and a billet aluminium steering plate that includes the bike’s individual production number, making each one unique. Ducati has also added a slightly taller windscreen to improve wind protection and new hand grips inspired by the grips used on the Desmosedici MotoGP bikes. These grips are said to offer better control than the standard ones.

Ducati has not yet confirmed how much these special editions will cost. However, they have announced when they will be available. Customers in Europe should be able to find them in dealerships from March 2026. In the United States, the bikes will arrive in April 2026 and in Japan and Australia they will be available from July 2026. Because these models are special editions it is likely that they will be produced in limited numbers, which may make them attractive to collectors as well as fans of either Bagnaia or Márquez.
