Haas have officially revealed their new VF-26 Formula 1 car for the 2026 season. The American team presented the car online using digital images, giving fans their first look at the new design and colours.

The VF-26 features a clean white livery with bold red details, reflecting Haas’s growing partnership with Toyota, who are now the team’s title sponsor. The Japanese manufacturer has been working closely with Haas since 2024 and now plays a key role in the team’s technical development.

One major benefit of this partnership is Haas’s new driver-in-loop simulator. This allows the team to test car behaviour and help driver development in their own facilities, instead of relying on Ferrari. This change gives Haas more independence and better long-term planning.

The 2026 Formula 1 season will introduce completely new technical rules. Cars will be smaller, lighter and more energy efficient, while engines will use fully sustainable fuel and produce more electric power. These changes are designed to make the sport greener and more competitive.

Haas founder Gene Haas said the team had to balance racing in 2025 while also building the new 2026 car, which was a big challenge. He explained that pre-season testing will be very important to understand how the new cars perform and how teams adapt to the new rules.

Haas will continue with the same driver line-up, as Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman stay with the team for a second season together. This stability is expected to help the team develop faster and work more efficiently.

In 2025, Haas finished eighth in the Constructors’ Championship. Although this was one place lower than the year before, the team achieved their highest points total since 2018. Bearman’s impressive fourth place in Mexico City was the highlight of the season and matched the team’s best-ever Formula 1 result.

The VF-26 will make its first appearance on track during private testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya between 26 and 30 January. This early running will allow Haas to check reliability and collect important data before official testing begins.

Team principal Ayao Komatsu said the early launch feels unusual but exciting. He praised the hard work of the entire team and explained that every lap in Spain and Bahrain will be vital for learning about the new car.

With a stable driver pairing, stronger technical support and fresh regulations, Haas are hoping the 2026 season can mark a new and more competitive chapter in the team’s Formula 1 journey.
