The race started well for Marco Bezzecchi, who managed to take the lead, with his teammate Jorge Martin in second. Raúl Fernández also had a great start, but he made a mistake at Turn 1, running wide and dropping down the order to 17th place.

Francesco Bagnaia had a good start, trailing behind the Aprilia duo at the front, while his teammate Marc Márquez was riding behind him in 4th place. Fabio Di Giannantonio had a very bad start, as he dropped to 11th place.

Entering lap 2, Martin made an attack on Bezzecchi at Turn 1, but he ran wide and dropped to 3rd place.

After the first lap, the top 10 looked as follows: Bezzecchi, Bagnaia, Martin, Márquez, Aldeguer, Ogura, Moreira, Bastianini, Binder.

Using the slipstream and the speed of Ducati, Francesco Bagnaia took the lead of the race from Bezzecchi. Marc Márquez went wide into Turn 1, but he managed to defend his position from Pedro Acosta.

As the race progressed, Fernández slowly made his way up, now sitting in 12th place. On lap 5, there was still a battle between Márquez and Acosta for 4th place. Meanwhile, the front duo of Bagnaia and Bezzecchi were building a gap of over 0.700s to Martin in third place. Márquez and Acosta, battling for 4th place, were losing ground to Martin, with the gap growing to over 1.3s.

At the end of lap 6, Acosta managed to overtake Márquez. However, the Ducati was faster on the straight, so Márquez took the position back at Turn 1. But Acosta didn't give up and went for another overtake shortly after, successfully taking 4th place. Meanwhile, Marc Márquez ran wide at the exit of Turn 3, allowing Fermín Aldeguer to overtake him. But again, the Ducati was strong on the straight and Márquez overtook both Acosta and Aldeguer. Aldeguer settled for 5th ahead of Acosta.

On lap 10, the top 10 looked as follows: Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Martin, Márquez, Acosta, Aldeguer, Ogura, Di Giannantonio, Bastianini, Fernández.

On lap 11, there was the first yellow flag of the race, as Álex Rins crashed out. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin slowly started catching up to the leading duo.

Cal Crutchlow went into the pits and retired from the race. A second yellow flag followed shortly after, as Enea Bastianini crashed at Turn 10.

On lap 14, Marco Bezzecchi took the lead of the race back from Bagnaia. Pedro Acosta tried an overtake on Márquez, but he ran wide, allowing Márquez to retake the position.

On lap 16, Acosta tried another overtake on Márquez, which he successfully managed to complete. At the front, Bagnaia also lost his position to Jorge Martin, dropping to 3rd place.

Márquez again ran wide at Turn 1, giving Ogura hope of an overtake. But Márquez defended his position from Ogura for the time being. Shortly after, Márquez ran wide again, allowing Ogura and Di Giannantonio to overtake him.

On lap 20, Ogura made a good overtake on Acosta, but at the next turn they made contact as Acosta tried to take his position back. Shortly after, Acosta lost another position, this time to Di Giannantonio.

The top 10 looked as follows: Bezzecchi, Martin, Bagnaia, Ogura, Di Giannantonio, Acosta, Márquez, Aldeguer, Fernández, Binder.

At the finish line, Bezzecchi secured the victory, while Raúl Fernández managed to overtake Brad Binder and finish in 8th place. The podium was made up of Bezzecchi, Martin, and Bagnaia.
